Hello out there!
I’ve been a bit quiet on the news front, trying to steady the heart and focus on what matters. Thankfully music continues to be a reliable compass. Here are a couple of things happening in my world.
NEW SINGLE COMING OUT ON MAY 16th
I decided to postpone my new album release until the fall, and the main reason is that I want to first release a stand alone song called “When I Become Confused.” It’s an emotional and personal song that is close to my heart and I’m excited to be partnering with the Alzheimer’s Society of Peel to help raise awareness. I'm also grateful to a group of generous supporters who have helped make this project possible. There will be a beautiful animated music video released at the same time on May 16th and I’ll be sure to keep you posted as things unfold over the next few weeks.

TORONTO GIG - FREE TIMES CAFE
SAT. MAY 24th @ 7pm
I haven’t played in Toronto for 18 months but I am really looking forward to making my return on May 24th at Free Times Café. It will be an intimate show and I would love to see your smiling faces in the audience : ) I have things to say and songs to sing and you can expect some songs from the new recordings as well as some old favourites. And of course, expect the LeaskExpected! If you can make it on May 24th, I recommend you book your tickets early by following this link.
Thanks as always for your support.
Meet you in the music,
David
