FALL TOUR 2016

I’m just back from a wonderful tour adding 7,000 km’s to the car and lots of memories to the memory bank.  We made our way through the rugged beauty of northern Ontario’s water, rocks n’ trees to the straight roads and mesmerizing skies of Manitoba and traveled up and down the golden fields and scattered wetlands of Saskatchewan.  We saw black bears, cougars, wolves, elk, deer and almost every season while we were away exploring this vast country called Canada. We brought our music to many new places, met lots of new folks and took away some wonderful memories, hopefully leaving some behind.  Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows and played a role in presenting the concerts and to Sean O’ Connor who flew out to add his musical magic to the Saskatchewan leg of the tour. Check out the little video montage below.

Some cool upcoming gigs
For those of you in the Toronto area, on Friday October 28th I’ll be performing a concert at the Brampton Folk Club with two very talented singing songwriters, Kirsten Jones and David Storey.  It’s called “Roots in the Round” and we’ll be sharing our tunes and spinning yarns in Sanderson Hall at St. Paul's United Church, 30 Main Street South, Brampton at 7.30pm.  Also, on Sunday October 30th at 2 pm I’ll be a featured guest of the Band of The Royal Regiment of Canada at Glenn Gould Studio in the CBC building in Toronto, performing “Can’t Make It Back Home", a song about a soldier's struggle with PTSD.  Some of you may remember the song from an earlier blog about it being written at a songwriting camp in Montreal with Patrick Bouchard and Lora Ryan.  For more details on these and all my other shows go to the SHOWS page.
